Leadership Development

At Uplift, we focus our leadership development program on 3 key approaches:

  1. Helping leaders make a mindshift around leadership and their responsibilities to their people

  2. Giving leaders the tools, skills and practices to lead intentionally

  3. Identifying habits leaders can implement to make long-term sustainable and meaningful change in the way they lead.

We offer the following services as a part of a full package or a la carte:

Leadership Analytics

We leverage assessment and leadership feedback tools to gain insights into where leaders have strengths and where they can improve and build awareness.

These analytics can be developed and delivered using your organizations exisiting internal HRIS or engagement tools or we can help you find the right tool through our partnerships with various engagement, HRIS and assessment providers.

The Leadership Lift Program

This program is for leaders who want to increase their effectiveness in engaging their people and getting better results to meet their business objectives. The program focuses on foundational elements like understanding your responsibilities, developing your leadership style, giving candid feedback, the science of motivation and building strong working relationships. In addition, the program will dive into how leaders build culture and engagement while enabling performance.

This training program can be facilitated virtually or in-person and we leverage a combination of workbook exercises, small group discussion, role plays and group facilitation to deliver the material.

All training attendees will have access to a 1:1 coaching session with the trainer/leadership coach following the training session.

Leadership Coaching

In addition to coaching provided as a part of the Lift + Shift Program, organizations can leverage ongoing 1:1 coaching for leaders who continue to work on building self-awareness, awareness of others and interpersonal/communication skills. Coaching can also be beneficial for leaders who are working towards building confidence to lead and speak more assertively.

During a coaching agreement, the coachee will have the opportunity to develop goals for the coaching sessions. Over the course of an agreement we will work through these goals and coachees will have specific takeaways and tasks between sessions. The coachee may also receive input from their leader on potential goals and challenges that can be addressed during a coaching agreement.
